I want to know when to use ce que and when to use ce qui. I know they both are what or which. I usually use ce que but sometimes I see people using ce qui.

Good question.
ce que + subject + verb
ce qui + verb

qui est le sujet, en fait ça dépend de ce qui vient après

Hah. I don't know it says in the book I am using it says that it is the same as ce qui and ce que but, ce qui and ce que are used differently. So I assume that ce dont is used differently also.

it's not the same thing

I'll give you an example

Si c'est vraiment ce que tu veux, alors fais-le
If this is really what you want, then do it

Je n'ai pas réussi mon examen, ce qui veut dire que je devrai le repasser à la prochaine session
I failed my exam, which means I'll have to do it again next time

J'ai réussi à battre le record, c'est ce dont je suis le plus fier
I broke the record, that's what I am the most proud of Confused

My book says that
dont = de qui = de quoi
And dont is preferred to the other 2.

Because you are le plus fier de breaking the record.
