Hey, I just had a question about some French spelling. In the French that i read the letter "O" and "E" when written side by side are connected together. I can't really think of a reason for this, but i would like to know why if anyone happened to know...Thank you

I have no idea.

But don't waste your time with this, it's a minor thing.

The reason must be from the evolution of the French language, from Latin to Medieval French, to etc etc etc... but I don't know it.

Though, I can tell you that the "oe" (I don't have a French keypad to type it correctly) is called "o, e dans l'o" in schools and that it's just pronounced as any other "e" (so "e").
