There is an excellent online dictionary that allows you to enter a French word and it can provide either definitions in French, or definitions in English, or synonyms, or the conjugation (where appropriate). It also functions as an English-French dictionary.

There are also two excellent books for conjugating French verbs: 201 French Verbs and 501 French Verbs. Each verb is fully conjugated on its own page. The smaller one can fit into your pocket and be carried around, and the bigger one makes quick reference at your desk. Both can be readily found as cheap used copies. Although, the dictionary I mentioned above would probably serve the same function for free, if you work at your computer a lot.
