i listen to CELINE DION in french, and i enjoy her very much , and i would say that this helps too.

I would suggest music as not a good form of study. Too often they use slang and when u are listening to music u often don't focus on the lyrics, instead u would focus on the melody or rhythm (it is human nature to do so). Try listening to music and reading, it works depending on the song. Smile

Yes, but the melody and rhythm helps me to remember some common french words.

How are u suppose to know what a word is suppose to mean when u are listening without the spelling.

What grade are u in, by the way if u live in Montreal then French is probably ur native language unless if u just moved there.

can anyone please teach me french?
i only know some simple words because here in our country there are no french lessons in class. I can speak English fluently because that's the language we should use in school. I've been reading all your posts and learn some new words beacause of your translations.. but i dont really know how to pronounce them except for some...
