Could someone tell me some French terms of endearment? For example, I call my children sweetheart, etc and wondered what the French call their children/loved ones.
Thanks! |

for children, u can use stuff like "chéri/chérie" (darling), "mon grand/ma grande" (literally my big one), "mon coeur" (my heart), quite common for a girl "puce" (flea) or for a boy "bonhomme" (a kiddy word for man) :P
for a loved one: chéri/chérie, mon coeur, bébé (baby), mon amour (my love)... there's loads but those are the most common ones! |
