Well, Brazilian is who was born in Brazil and Portuguese is who was born in Portugal.
Portuguese also is the language for both countries:
The Portuguese from Brazil (South America)
and
The Portuguese from Portugal (Europe)

To clarify, in both countries the language spoken is Portuguese. Brazilian Portuguese is not a separate language but a branch of the language. The most noticable difference between the variants of the language is the pronunciation, although Portuguese and Brazilians can normally understand one another just fine.
