I want to = Je veux + infinitif
I like to = J'aime + inifintif
I hope that you can help me = J'espère que vous pouvez m'aider
I wish that I could = Je souhaite que je pourrais

I may have made some mistakes....

I wish that I could = J'aimerais pouvoir...

exemple :

I wish I could fly.

J'aimerais pouvoir voler.

I wish I had more money.

J'aimerais avoir plus d'argent ( Ou : j'aurais aimé avoir plus d'argent)

The real translation for " to wish " is " souhaiter ", but except for some sentences ( I wish you a happy new year = je vous souhaite une bonne année ), but in the case of sentences such as those I posted before, we rather use forms like " J'aimerais..."
