I would just like to find out how many people believe that it is acceptable to swear in a language forum such as this.

Personally I think that it should not be allowed execpt if you are talking in a random discussion topic (e.g. Le topic ce que vous parlez SEULEMENT en francais!). What about you?

Somehow, you also have to learn the French bad words. Some are very common Wink

I think it is an important part of the French language. We have a lot of swearwords and use them very often.

I think we should allow non-offensive bad words, which are obviously part of the French language, especially among young people.
Some have entered the standart speaking French, and you can hear them on TV or on the radio without offensing anyone...

So, I think as long as it's not targeted to any member of the forum, I think it's ok...
